""Dungeon Hunter 5"" : Are you ready to
fight again in the Valenthia city state ?
Dungeon Hunter 5 is an action role-playing, hack and slash
video game which is developed and published by the famous RPG's creator 'Gameloft
Montréal'. Well this time Gameloft
published its game without collaborating with any other game company. The game
is the next installation in the series of "Dungeon Hunter" and it is quite
similar to its predecessor : 'Dungeon Hunter IV' as the theme is similarly
based on Valenthia city state but the game is not available for all the users
because it is released only for the following platforms Android, iOS, Windows Phone.
In the gameplay, you will see that it is quite similar to
its previous game i.e., Dungeon Hunter 4 because some qualities like using the
potions, picking up the loot and using the skill attacks are same. But the game
is much better than the past one as now the player can fight against more difficult
enemies and can create greater damage in the fights. This will leads to test
the skills of the players up to a greater extent.
Well apart from this, many new features are introduced such
as, a new mode called 'Stronghold' in which the players can collect the minions
and a new currency - 'Quartz' is also introduced which helps to fuse the
minions which are captured in the Stronghold.
The loot system is also modified
, now the player can gain better loot from the opponents but if the player
fought with another players then his/her shield will be over and other players
can also raid on him/her. Don't worry from the raids as now you can defend
yourself from the raids with modified and upgraded weapons, jet packs, armor
body parts, etc.
The raids will also leads to the trophy system which means
if the opponent loses a fight then he/she will lose some of its trophies and
the player who won the fight will take its trophies.
Well the game has already got awesome reviews from many
games magazines and websites but if you want to check out what they said about Dungeon
Hunter 5 then here are some of them:-
1. TouchArcade :
Make no mistake, Dungeon Hunter 5 is knee-deep in its
freemium systems and its not going
to make any converts of those that are staunchly against such elements.
However, for those others willing to engage with what it offers in the
environment that it offers it in, I believe you’ll have a good time.
2. Multiplayer.it :
Dungeon Hunter 5 delivers a better experience than the
previous episode, with a decent balancing, a solid upgrade system and lots of
challenging missions.
3. Pocket Gamer UK :
A game about walking around hitting things. If you like the
sound of that then you should probably download it.
4. Gamezebo :
I applaud Gameloft for continuing to tinker with this series
so it doesn’t get too stale, but the
combination of less characters classes, little control over your gear and an
uninspiring PvP element combine to knock Dungeon Hunter 5 down a peg.
5. Grab It Magazine :
It's evident that Gameloft has in its ranks the talent
necessary to craft an epic, rich action-RPG - and I'd dearly like to see the
development team do just that - but DH5 is not that game. There's certainly
excellent examples of those on iOS, and players after such adventures would do
well to grab Iesabel or Battleheart Legacy and forget this title.
THE VERDICT :
The game is fully packed with the action and with new
features. The city and its elements are more detailed than its predecessor. So, it
really deserves a chance.
