Infamous 2 - The Second Son Review
Infamous 2-The Second Son is the sequel of infamous created in 2009 is an action-adventure game by sucker punch productions which was published by sony entertainment networks . The story rotates around Cole MacGrath who was caught in the middle of an explosion that almost destroys the whole empire city . This explosion was termed the ray sphere and it released Cole’s abilities to mend electricity in many ways which included travelling on electric transmission lines , using transformers to direct electricity for a particular purpose .People like Cole were termed conduits (rare people with special abilities) which were later generated by the ray sphere by exploiting the conduit gene. Infamous 2 is not based on the karma system that was given utter importance and the whole plot of the game rotated on that . Infamous 2 is based upon the battle between Cole and a supernatural being called the beast who is far too strong than Cole . Cole is joined by his friend zeke and a NSA agent Lucy Kuo to help him fight the beast . The twist comes at the end, when karma plays its part and the gamer has to choose in between destroying the beast , saving humanity and joining the beast as to save the conduits .
The game overall is rated more than average considering the long play time and the story though it’s amazing screenplay , action and the ferocious battles make it loved by loads of people . It is overall electrifying , providing different endings for the gamer . The game lacks on the fact of poor quality of camera angle in melee battles and confused navigation at some stages . I would rate the game 8 out of 10 and must play game for people who like suspense built around them . Infamous 2 is miles above visually than the first part . The presentation is strong , the story is intense, it can referred to as a strong example of super hero game done right and works on the formula that sequels can work better too.
