Hellblade is an upcoming video game being developed and published by Ninja Theory which will be available on Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 platform. The game is supposed to be launched next year on PS4 and tells the story of Celtic Warrior Senua and her journey into Hell, a Hell manifested in Senua's mental illness where she experiences psychosis, hallucinations, delusions and suffering from anxiety and depression. Her hallucinations and psychosis make up a new game world and is so meant to confuse the player (and, in turn, Senua) on what is real, and what is imagined. The player will experience Senua’s living nightmare through her own eyes. The fantasy gameplay of the game breaks down into small units with barriers hard to cross during its storyline. In all, Hellblade plans to tackle the stigma of mental illness through Senua's journey through Hell. You can follow the journey at this website and via the Ninja Theory social channels.
