Limbo game Review
Limbo actually means afterlife condition of a soul for committing sins and not being assigned hell in return. Limbo is a puzzle-platform video game developed by Playdead. This has nothing to do with action-adventure but will cause you to run your horses to complete this. It is revolved around a nameless boy who is in search for his elder sister. Limbo game starts with the boy in a vast, dense forest at the edge of hell and is created in dark, grey scale mode with minute sound effects and a haunting environment. The character is imbibed to solve various levels (puzzles) with minimum controls involving moving up, down , left ,right and jump .In Limbo, the character can climb ladders , bushes and other things in order to complete mechanical traps.
Limbo is basically a 2D game and doesn’t involve huge amount of graphics as it doesn't involve many characters. The characters in the game involve the brother in search for his elder sister and other human beings which the boy encounters during the course (mostly dead). The dark environment of the game allows the traps and the deadly animals to be hidden from the user making them difficult to see . This game offers advantages like skipping the traps through various means and giving various ways in which a level can be completed .Limbo is termed “ a trial and death “ game as it involves the player to die several times before completing a level .The death of character is shown in horrid ways which involves the boy’s dismemberment or beheading making it a 12+ rating game as it involves some kinds of aggression . The game also involves insects such as glow worms which make the game more tough as when they are attached to the character , the character can only move in a particular direction only .The glow worms can be only removed once they encounter light. Overall is a successful wide selling which is being played by many these days . I would rate Limbo game a rating of 8/10 owing to uniqueness and complexity of the puzzles keeping the user interested and eager to finish the game.
