Sims 4 Game Review
Sims 4 is a life simulation video game developed by Maxis and The Sims Studio published by Electronic Arts in the year 2014 for Microsoft windows. The game has not yet been published for console, even for mac it is going to be released in 2015.The game has the same concept as its predecessor Sims 3, which involves controlling your characters, forming relationships and performing different tasks. The gameplay is nonlinear and doesn’t have a particular defined goal making it a bit boring. The game focuses more on social interaction, user interface and personality rather than the previous versions changing the feel and flow of the game. The Sims 4 is beautiful and charming but its constricted structure makes it devastatingly limited basically it lacks features and a small world furthermore degrades the games popularity. The builder menu is far more streamlined and elegant than the previous versions and disappointing thing about this version of Sims is that there are no changes in the humanly needs like hunger, sleep and hygiene remain unchanged and no new features have been added to this, a revolutionizing change is the removal of moodlets like comfort and environment but this doesn't mean that it doesn't affect the Sim. Seeing garbage the Sims get ‘uncomfortable’. In Sims 4, the characters are quite moody , getting embarrassed and various other stuff ,changes in mood affect the speech and exclamation of the character. The deeper one gets in the game the more roadblocks he gets into. Sims 4 lacks spontaneity and lacks originality having even ideas and tasks copied from the previous versions of the game. Though Sims 4 has better animation than Sims 3 it is not a accomplished game as Sims 3. You can build your own cafes and museums as well as homes that enhances personal attachment. All in all Sims 4 is a well polished game but gets defeated due to small town or cities. I would rate the game 6/10 compared to the superiority of the previous versions. Sims 4 doesn’t require a highly advanced PC configuration for playing.
